Job Description – Sr. Maximo Devoloper Technical Lead

JFC is seeking to hire a Maximo Enterprise Asset Management professional with a strong technical background to work as the Techno/Functional Lead with an existing client on the utilization of IBM Maximo 7.6. The desired candidate will have a blend of business process review/recommendations experience to align with their continued efforts to improve their overall Asset Management practices.

The role will also involve contributions from a technical perspective. The ideal candidate will have experience with Integrations, Automation Scripting and SDLC deployments. In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the SDLC, including maintaining documentation in line to SDLC standards and assist in User Acceptance and release documents.

The position will also require working on, supporting and providing guidance on both existing and new projects with the JFC team. It is our expectation that the positions immediate needs will evolve over time, allowing the ideal candidate the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, providing world class support to our clients.

This position is located in Sacramento, California. The ideal candidate will live in the immediate area. Remote work is possible for the right candidate but comes with the understanding that travel may be required during certain phases of projects.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

·              Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders

·              Strong organizational, communication skills both written and verbal

·              Able to work independently or in a team environment

·              Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint

·              4-year college degree from an accredited university (Master’s Degree in in CS or MIS Preferred)

Technical Skill Requirements

Certifications:

• IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Maximo Asset Management V7.6 (required)

• IBM Certified Advanced Deployment Professional - Maximo Asset Management v7.6 (preferred)

·              Demonstrated competency/experience working with relational databases and a solid knowledge of SQL and Oracle

·              Experienced in unit testing and user acceptance testing

·              Writing specifications and producing technical documentation

·              Experience with Java, WebSphere, Scripting Languages (Jython,/Python), SQL, XML, and XSLT

·              Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration

·              Experience integrating Maximo and Active Directory, SSL, ERP Systems

·              Expertise in using the Maximo Migration Manager

·              Experience migrating data to/from Maximo 7.6

·              Expertise in development of Workflow application for SR, Work Order and Purchasing

·              Minimum of 5 years’ experience with MEA/MIF

·              Minimum of 5 years in deploying and upgrading Maximo

Desired Skills and Experience

·              At least 10 years of experience working with IBM Maximo Asset Management and recent experience implementing IBM Maximo Asset Management version 7.6.

·              Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Engineering or Relevant Discipline

JUNIOR MAXIMO DEVELOPER / NEEDHAM, MA (FILLED)

We are seeking an independent, talented, and highly motivated individual to join us in our Needham, MA office. The Junior Developer will report to the Director of Technical Services and will work directly with our Senior Consultants and Engineers to support clients, contribute to existing projects, and develop new offerings. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skill set while gaining valuable, hands-on experience solving business problems with technology. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Resolving technical issues with existing projects and deployments, including our hosted Cloud-based environments and remote client systems

• Working with our lead architect on our IoT offerings and projects used to monitor fixed assets

• Performing installs, writing reports, developing SQL queries, writing scripts, and debugging workflow processes

• Developing handheld work management solutions using our business partner platform

• Developing internal systems and tools for staff

• Some travel to client sites within in the U.S.

Requirements: BS/MS (required) with a degree in Computer Science preferred

Minimum / General Experience: Requires five (5) years of working experience in software development, technical support, solutions deployment, or consulting of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Enterprise Asset Management Solutions (EAM), or Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP). Must have strong communication, presentation, organization, planning, and the interpersonal skills necessary to work as a team member and act as a liaison with customers.
